Making Moves Dance Company is one of the largest facilities in the Tri-Cities area. Our 4,500 square foot free standing facility offers a large comfortable lobby with a complimentary coffee bar for parents and family members to wait while their dancers are in class, 3 different size studio rooms for optimal training sessions, 4 restrooms, an in-studio office for in person payments if preferred, and a private parking lot for the best convenience possible.  

Studio 1 is 396 square feet which is mainly used for our tiny dancers and/or smaller classes and offers a full viewing window. 

Studio 2 is 726 square feet and offers a full viewing window.

Studio 3 is 1,925 square feet offering a large area for our larger classes, acro classes, and is the perfect spot of our competitive team to practice. 

Making Moves Dance Company opened their doors in 2018 and is rapidly expanding each year. They opened their doors with the hopes to instill and share the passion of dance into each of their dancers.  Making Moves Dance Company is dedicated to making your dancer the absolute best that they can be. Here at MMDC we strive to bring out the best in each of our students on and off the dance floor. Teaching dance is not just a job to our instructors, it's a passion that we want to share with our community through the joy of dance within our students.  

MMDC offers a wide variety of curriculum so that we can place your dancer into the program that is just right for them. We offer classes for ALL ages, styles, and skill levels taught by highly skilled and dedicated instructors. Our instructors continue their education by attending conventions, training classes, and workshops around the U.S. so that we can continue to provide the best experience and education to our dancers at all times. 

MMDC takes pride in sharing our passion with all of our dancers and our community. MMDC has won Best Overall in the Hopewell Christmas Parade 2 years in a row. Our Competition Crew has won numerous 1st Place Regional Awards, Judges Choice Awards, Director's Picks, Convention Scholarships, Title Winners, Heart Of Gold Recipients, 1st Place & Overall National Awards.  MMDC has had performers in the Televised Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
