Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Making Moves Dance Company had the opportunity to dance in the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!!! We were so excited to be given this amazing opportunity. We sent 3 dancers to have a once in a lifetime opportunity in New York City. These dancers had a long, tiring, hard, but extremely rewarding 6 days in the big city. They practiced roughly 6-10 hours a day with over 500 dancers from all over the US to prepare for their big performance. While in New York they got to see the Broadway Show & Juillet, The famous Radio City Rockettes, the 911 Memorial, the Empire State Building, the Lady Liberty National Harbor Tour, Times Square, Macy's, and so much more. While in the big city MMDC decided they loved Broadway Shows so much that they wanted to see more while they were there and decided on Moulin Rouge, SIX, and Hell's Kitchen. MMDC is so grateful that they are able to give their dancer's these amazing opportunities and we truly enjoy making unforgettable memories with our dance family!
